What is TAPSIGNER?

TAPSIGNER is a reusable NFC Bitcoin hardware signer. A compatible wallet constructs and displays the transaction; the card holds the BIP-32 key and signs after a tap and PIN.

  • Normal signing keeps the unencrypted master XPRV on the card. Recovery uses an AES-128-CTR encrypted backup file and the separate key printed on the card.
